* Is there a charge for the generator?
Yes. The generator charge is $3 per hour with 3 hr per day free. You can save on this expense by staying in locations that have electrical hookups and not leaving the generator running when you are not in the vehicle.
* What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Mileage depends on the size of the motor home and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 7 and 12 miles per gallon.
* Do I need a special driver's license to drive a motor home?
No, you need to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license. No special endorsement is necessary.

Our pick up time is on the first day of rental. If you would like it earlier and the unit is ready we may be able to accommodate your needs.
* What kind of motor homes do you rent?
Our web site lists all of the types and sizes of vehicles we rent.
* Is it difficult to drive a motor home?
Motor homes handle much like a car, especially the "C" class which has a van chassis. You will need to remember that they are much larger than the average car, so when you turn, your back end will swing out. When you rent the vehicle you will receive an orientation and a drive around the block to show you how they work.
* Are motor homes difficult to hook up?
No. At departure you will receive a 30 - 60 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook up, operate appliances, and view a demo video. You simply plug in to a power source, hook up your dump tank and you are good to go. Most motor homes can be hooked up and running in minutes.
* Does the motor home come equipped with pots and pans?
No, we have found that many people like to bring their own utensils and supplies, but we do rent kitchen kits.

There is tax on the rental charges and any kits you order. The generator fee is $3 per hour and will be collected upon return of the rental. You will also be asked to pay fuel and cleaning/dumping fees at the end of the rental if not completed. Fuel tanks, both gas and propane must be returned full. Our charge to fill tanks is $25 each plus fuel charges. Unit must be returned clean with all holding tanks emptied. The cleaning will be determined by the degree of refurbishing needed. The holding tank dumping charge is $50 if paid in advance, and $75 if not.
* Does the motor home come with a TV, VCR or stereo?
Most units come with entertainment systems. Some are rudimentary, some are extravagant. Most come with TV, VCR and/or DVD player. Those that do will usually have a cable hook up that most campgrounds offer.
* Are there roll-out awnings on the motor home?
Most units have them. Many units have automatic awnings and controls. A reminder; these systems are very expensive and you are responsible for any damage. They are very sensitive to wind so please take precautions and do not leave unattended or up during periods of moderate wind.
* Are pets allowed in the motor homes?
Pets are welcome in some units, please check with the unit page to determine if they are and the conditions of having them.
* Can you smoke in the motor homes?
NEVER. There is a strict no smoking policy in all our motor homes. Detection of smoking will result in the complete forfeiture of your rental deposit and may incur odor removal charges.
* Is there a limit to how many people can ride in the motor home?
There is no legal limit and there is no seat law governing the use of seat belts in any part of the coach beside the front seats, which requires belts. All motor homes come with seat belts on the dinette and the couch if so equipped, we recommend they be used. We also recommend the following:
Never exceed the maximum capacity as posted in each individual vehicle. Minimum capacity includes the vehicle, all fluids, all occupants and gear.
All passengers should use the provided seat belts. The total number of seat belts will vary according to each vehicle and its floor plan.
Child safety seats should be used where applicable. The installation and use of these seats should follow the recommendation of the child seat manufacturer.
Overhead areas designed only for sleeping should not be occupied while the vehicle is in motion.
The vehicle should be properly secured prior to travel. This includes locking the doors and dead-bolting them where applicable. Stow the entry step and secure the outside compartments.
We expect that you will use good judgment and prudence in your decisions.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAW.
* Can I park my car at your rental center while we travel?
We have the ability for you to leave your car at our location. While we are not responsible for it's safety, we have had no problems with anything in the past.

No, we do not allow our vehicles to leave the United States.
* How do I pay for the rental?
We accept all major credit cards for payment or deposits. Checks are accepted in some cases.
* Can I tow my car or boat behind the motor home?
We do allow towing with some of our motor homes. The motor homes are only equipped with a receiver hitch, so you would need to provide your own tow bar. We allow a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. and a maximum gross weight of 2500 lbs. Towing costs are $25 per day extra.
* How much does it cost to stay in campgrounds?
Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay between $10 and $50 per night.
* What kind of facilities might a campground offer?
A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.
* Are there any places we cannot take the motor home?
Yes. Travel in Death Valley and other desert areas are not allowed during the hot months. This is due to the excessive wear and tear on the coaches, and the possibility of breakdowns in these hot areas increases tremendously. Also, vehicles are not allowed on logging or other non-public roads. You are responsible for all road hazard damage so be careful.
* What if I am late in returning the vehicle?
The vehicle is overdue after 11:00 a.m. on the date of return. A fee of $25 per hour will be charged for each hour you are late. If not returned by office closing time you will be subject to another day's rental charges. Please notify the rental center if you will be late in returning. We can make arrangements for late returns subject to availability.
* What if I am involved in an accident?
With any damage to property we require the filing of a police report. We also require you contact Corona RV Rentals as soon as possible. Please follow the procedures set forth by your insurance company.
* What if the motor home breaks down?
You will need to contact us as soon as possible. If the repair is minor, under $100, then have it repaired and we will reimburse you. If the repair requires more than that we need to issue authorization before repair is made.
* Are there bike racks?
We rent bike racks for an additional $29 per week.
* Are there levelers provided?
Some motor homes come equipped with them and some do not.

There is no legal limit and there is no seat law governing the use of seat belts in any part of the coach beside the front seats, which requires belts. All motor homes come with seat belts on the dinette and the couch if so equipped, we recommend they be used. We also recommend the following:

If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:

The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
